Brooklyn Artists Ball

The Brooklyn Museum’s 2020 Artists Ball’s mission was to honor JR (artist) and Ian Schrager (entrepreneur and co-founder of Studio 54).

We partnered with David Stark Design and Production to extend the evening’s decor into a complete identity, which included a printed invitation set, an email campaign suite, and various animations for social media.

The design and typography drew inspiration from the disco era’s famous nightclub and exhibition, Studio 54: Night Magic, replete with reflections and bursts of sensation and light.

Unfortunately, the event—initially scheduled for April 2020—was ultimately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
